Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms keep expectations clear on both sides: what Peeksee provides, what you're responsible for — especially as the operator of your own cameras — and what viewers can expect when a business shares cameras with them.

1. The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Peeksee covering your use of the Peeksee websites and service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are acting for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and “you” means the business.

2. What Peeksee is

Peeksee lets a business share live and recorded views from its own cameras with the customers it chooses, for the time windows it chooses, through brokered viewing sessions and a branded portal. Peeksee does not supply, install, or operate cameras — the cameras, the spaces they record, and the decision to record remain yours.

3. Accounts

Keep your account information accurate and your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Business owners and admins control roles and camera assignments inside their workspace and are responsible for who they grant access to.

4. Your cameras, your responsibility

Video recording and monitoring are regulated, and the rules differ by location. As the operator of your cameras, you are responsible for using Peeksee lawfully. In particular, you agree to:

  • Comply with all laws that apply to recording and sharing video (and audio, where captured) in your jurisdiction, including consent and notice requirements.
  • Provide any required signage or disclosures to staff, customers, and visitors in recorded areas.
  • Never point shared cameras at spaces with a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as restrooms, changing areas, or private residences you do not control.
  • Share cameras only with people who have a legitimate connection to what they are viewing.

5. Viewers

If a business shares cameras with you, your access belongs to that relationship: keep your sign-in to yourself, don’t attempt to view cameras beyond what was shared, and don’t rebroadcast or publish streams without the business’s permission. The business can end your access at any time.

6. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful surveillance, stalking, or harassment.
  • No attempts to bypass access controls, probe infrastructure, or interfere with the service.
  • No reselling or white-labeling the service without a separate agreement.
  • No use of the service to infringe others’ rights, including privacy and publicity rights.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these rules.

7. Your content

As between you and Peeksee, your video and business records belong to you. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service — transporting, storing, and processing your content to deliver streams, replay, and features you use. Recorded video is retained per your settings and deleted when the window passes.

8. Fees

Paid plans are billed per your order or agreement. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing. We may suspend service for accounts with overdue balances after reasonable notice.

9. Not a safety or security-monitoring service

Peeksee provides convenience viewing, not life-safety monitoring. Streams and recordings can be interrupted by network conditions, camera hardware, or maintenance, and no one at Peeksee watches your cameras. Do not rely on the service as a security system, an emergency-response tool, or a substitute for supervision.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peeksee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other users. On closure, we will provide a reasonable window to export your business records before deletion.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post changes here and notify account holders by email of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
